After almost seven years, DJ Apt One and I are ending the Philadelphyinz party.  We will still be doing Hot Mess at Silk City and collaborating on projects through Young Robots.

The final Philadelphyinz will be on 5/12 at Medusa Lounge, and we are thrilled to have Stretch Armstrong joining us.

But first, Hot Mess is a week from Friday (5/4).

Heads up … bonus extra Players Club tonight (4/11) with me and Sammy Bananas on the wheels.  Usually it’s just first and third Wednesdays, but we’re in for one extra this month.  Lucky you!  You know the deal, 10 PM – ???, upstairs at Pianos, 158 Ludlow in the LES.  I got drink tickets, just ask.

And then this weekend, moombahton stalwarts and friends-of-Skrillex Sazon Booya joining us in the basement at Medusa for Philadelphyinz on Saturday!  SB (aka Mr. Vega and DJ SAV) are the exception that proves the rule for a genre filled with so many terrible artists.  They put on a great show and make great tunes.  We’re excited and proud to have them joining us.

Telephoned aka Sammy Bananas and Maggie Horn are putting out their original debut EP, “Ring Ring” today on Fools Gold! The release party is tonight and I will be spinning. There’s also free Bushmills from 9 to 10.

Also honored that mustachioed nightlife impresario Nicky Digital tapped me for the latest chapter of his long-running Pre-Party Jamz mix series.  Previous contributors include Crookers, Yelle, Drop the Lime, Soulwax and plenty of others.  My entry is one of my favorite things I’ve done in a long time, it’s a slim 25 minutes and bounces between future bass and space rap.

My live set from the One Step Beyond party at the American Natural History Museum! I’m tracking down the flix too. This was really fun, I’m really happy I got the chance to play this gig. Thanks to Scott, Noah, the Dirty Projectors and all my people who came out to support.

My remix for Dev79 and Slix’s “Get 2 Know” dropped last week on Slit Jockey Records (alongside remixes by Starkey, Gladkill and others), and my contribution to DJ Pickster and Mixmag’s Rise Of Moombahton compilation came out on Friday.

On deck is the M15 BOYZ PROJECT (my collab with Proper Villains), a remix for DJ Self Help and an entire Philadelphyinz drum sample library on the upcoming third volume of T&A Breaks.
