A week from today, Saturday, November 8th, 2008, at Medusa Lounge, 21st and Chestnut Streets, Philadelphia, we’ll celebrate with some of the folks who have been there the whole way:
Mike Tee
(Macho City / Robotique / Bleached Black / Hip Replacement / Paradise at Key West)
Mike will join us for his last Philly show before he leaves for Detroit. As a fearless DJ, record store owner and prolific party starter, he’s left a bigger mark on Philly than almost anybody else these last several years.
DJ Stumble
(Mad Decent / SmartTech)
The kid tore down Crew Love in ‘07 with a set people still talk about. He’s the wild card. Everything new and cutting edge is on the table when Teejay takes the wheels. Stumble’s Lolz Royce remix of Jackie Chain’s Rollin was the lead track to our Discobelle MixUp this spring.

(Hurrah) Dollar Bin Jams mastermind and the force behind the slammin Hurrah! parties. Shawn keeps the spirit of the classics alive in his sets and will bring the serious electro flavor to set shit off right.
Kenny Raw
(Tech Support / WestWax)
1/2 of the wildly popular (though defunct) Tech Support parties, and a founding member of the WestWax collective, Kenny is known for blazing sets of hard funk, disco funk, funk 45s, funky disco, funky funk and, well, funk.
DJ JJC
(Dollar Grillz / WestWax)
Another founding WestWax member , Jesse is the king of Baltimore Avenue, rocking Fridays at all the Ethiopian spots with an eclectic blend of old school jams of every stripe… and vocoder raps. He’s also a resident at Dollar Grillz at Medusa and invented the BuckBuck style of club music. He should have known better than to put that photo on his myspace.
So tonight is the night the Phils could bring home a World Series for the first time in 28 years.
As many of you know, Skinny and I both ply our mp3 blogging trade over at Dollar Bin Jams, where we basically just rip old records and then bullshit about them.
