Tonight at the Barbary, we send Metropolis off into the sunset. From the first edition of Metropolis (the night the Phillies won the ’08 Pennant) to this, the last, it’s been a pleasure making beautiful music with all the party peoples of Philadelphia. So many great dance tunes will forever be associated in my memory with this party.

On behalf of Shawn Ryan, Skinny Friedman, Billy W and the whole Metropolis crew – join us as we welcome one of the pure DJ talents the world over, Eli Escobar (Plant Music) to send this night off into the books right by getting loose to the sound. Rest assured though, Shawn and I will join forces again sometime soon, with some crates of gems, some cases of swill and a vengeance.
