Pittsburgh - You’ve Been Warned

Apt One @ August 24th, 2009 ... · No Comments

This Saturday, August, 29th it’s GOING DOWN.

We’re playing the Hot House in the old Nabisco factory across from Mellon Park as part of a benefit for the Sprout Fund. I used to fantasize about hitting a home run from the little league field across the street all the way to the Nabisco factory.

I’ve been to this event once before (years ago) and it’s multiple floors of music and art - probably about 2,500+ in attendance. For what it’s worth, last year the Post-Gazette ranked Hot House as the #2 party of 2008. Other musical acts include Zombi (Relapse Records), Humanaut, Edgar Um and the Harlan Twins (featuring Relative Q of RCMP on keys, plus all our best friends).

If you ever wanted to get wasted off nice wine and cut in front of a congressman on your way to the cheeseplate…. to the sounds of Philadelphyinz…. now’s your chance. Alison Shildt will be in the building taking flicks too!

The tickets are available at $25 and $50, but since this is a fundraiser, it’s all going to a good cause and it’s being catered by pretty much every awesome restaurant in the Burgh so NO WHINING.
