Baltimore’s Club Queen, DJ K-Swift died last night in a swimming pool accident at her home. I never got a chance to see her spin, but many of my most respected peers hold her in very, very high esteem. We didn’t make it to the big Unruly party in Baltimore this weekend, but apparently she shut it down, as she’s always been known to do. Not just a great DJ but a trailblazer on behalf of female DJs as well. A lot of heavy hearts this morning.
