I grew up in North Carolina where we had a backyard that would have basically been a football field had there not been a gigantic old growth pine smack in the middle of it. The lawn took three hours to mow which was enough time for me to listen to The Downward Spiral a little under three times.

We had a big fenced-in deck in our backyard. I guess it was a deck and not a porch but I’m not entirely clear on the difference.
